NC State College of Engineering's Nanofabrication Facility in Raleigh, NC seeks a Semiconductor Research Engineer to support performance, reliability, and safe operation of advanced fabrication equipment. You will maintain cleanroom infrastructure and assist researchers in achieving technical goals.

Qualifications

• BS or higher degree in science or engineering from an accredited institution.
• Hands-on semiconductor processing and device fabrication experience.
• Ability to train users on equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanroom infrastructure and semiconductor fabrication equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and process-related issues; coordinate with vendors.
• Develop, test, document fabrication processes (photolithography, etching, deposition).
• Provide hands-on training and technical support to internal and remote users.
• Maintain process logs, SOPs, and inventory for cleanroom supplies.
