Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a senior wafer fab equipment engineer to install, qualify, maintain, and optimize etch, PECVD and sputter tools in a semiconductor fab. You will drive yield, uptime, and process stability in a cleanroom environment.

You will partner with process engineers to fix production issues, manage vendors, write purchase requisitions, and implement TPM strategies. A 10+ year background in wafer fab equipment and photolithography is expected.

Qualifications

• AA or BS in a related field and 10+ years in wafer fab equipment engineering.
• Experience with photolithography and semiconductor tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, maintain, and optimize etch, PECVD, sputter equipment.
• Drive yield, uptime, and process stability in a cleanroom environment.
• Partner with process engineers to fix production issues.
• Manage vendors and tool performance metrics.
• Able to write purchase requisitions for vendors and parts.
• Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies.
