Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures across Ulvac, Gasonics, Mattson, Fusion Gemini, AMAT, and LAM dry-etch toolsets in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment in the United States.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in semiconductor manufacturing, the ability to read schematics and complex drawings, and physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in engineering/science.
• Minimum 5 years in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with Ulvac, Gasonics, Mattson, Fusion Gemini, AMAT, LAM tools.
• Able to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
• Physically capable of standing and lifting up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures across several toolsets.
• Perform preventive maintenance following standard documents.
• Use SPC/FabGuard data to evaluate tool performance.
• Document maintenance activities and assist in updating standards.
• Coordinate downtime with manufacturing leads.
