Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Semiconductor Maintenance Technician for Etch/Metals. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Fab Etch equipment, troubleshoot electrical, vacuum, and mechanical systems, and ensure tool reliability for high uptime.

The role requires experience with SPC, 5S, and FDC systems, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work long shifts on days or nights.

Qualifications

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on etch/metals tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical subsystems.
• Complete documentation and train others on standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections of Fab Etch equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair tool electronics and mechanical systems.
• Manage consumables and replacement parts for toolsets.
• Collaborate with production, safety, and engineering teams.
