Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform maintenance, calibration, and rework tasks for memory chips and logic devices. You will collaborate with engineers and production teams to support process control, data collection, and in-line adjustments.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, familiarity with cleanroom PPE, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing and a technical degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent military electronics experience.
• 3+ years in semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with 300mm cleans (wet etch) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled and corrective maintenance per SOPs.
• Respond to equipment faults and perform root-cause analysis.
• Analyze data and verify quality metrics.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate status across shifts.
• Operate safely in a cleanroom with PPE.
• Work B Shift: Sun–Tue, 6:45pm–7:15am, with alternating Saturdays.
