Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an experienced technician to maintain and optimize process equipment in a high-volume etch environment. You will work with a skilled team to sustain world-class tool uptime and yield, supporting safety and quality standards.

The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance, responding to faults, updating SOPs, and collaborating with shift supervision. Schedule: C Shift Thu-Sat 6:45am–7:15pm with alternating Wednesdays.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or equivalent military experience.
• 5+ years direct Etch semiconductor experience in high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance following standard procedures.
• Respond to tool faults and assist wafer recovery with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with Shift Supervisor to ensure PM coverage for priority tools.
• Update SOPs and generate required documentation to improve uptime and throughput.
• Support new equipment introductions and monitor equipment signals.
