Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing team. You will support maintenance on state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork. A high school diploma is required, with preference for a technical degree and prior Implanter experience; strong problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Technical degree preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude highly desired.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience on Implanters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice 6S in the office and fab, holding safety as the number 1 priority.
• Follow SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) to work efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment.
• Use structured problem solving to help find impactful solutions to complex problems.
• Affectively communicate with engineers, leaders, and teammates
• Work in a team environment on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock.
