Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a qualified SPW Project Engineer to advance self-perform work across complex projects. The role collaborates with SPW crews and supervision to ensure integration with overall plans, schedules, and quality standards.

You will monitor progress, analyze labor and equipment utilization, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions that improve efficiency and safety on site. The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration and continuous improvement in self-perform

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
4–6 years of experience in construction engineering or a related field.
OSHA 30-hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

Review moderately complex SPW scopes for design adherence and quality benchmarks.
Coordinate with SPW project managers to resolve technical challenges and maintain productivity.
Review SPW drawings, shop drawings, submittals and change orders for accuracy and alignment with SPW execution strategies.
Implement SPW project controls including schedule tracking and cost monitoring.
Prepare SPW progress reports, daily field logs and technical documentation.
Identify and mitigate SPW-related risks including safety, equipment utilization and logistics.
