Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin is seeking a Security System Supervisor to lead electronic security, video surveillance, and access control initiatives across state facilities, prioritizing staff and patient safety.

As Program Supervisor IV, you will supervise a team, coordinate with contractors, read schematics, plan preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure reliable security systems while aligning work with budget and agency goals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of large complex video systems.
• Knowledge of access control systems.
• Knowledge of multi frequency radio communication devices.
• Knowledge in A/V, video conferencing units, paging, and intercom systems.
• Project Management skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the facility’s Video Surveillance System and coordinates with contractors.
• Provides oversight for Access Control System and security measures.
• Plans equipment requirements and budgets for maintenance and upgrades.
• Supervises installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment.
• Manages staff and performance evaluations.
