Job summary

Pavion is seeking a Lead Technician to join our security team. You will lead a skilled crew to install, configure, and test CCTV, access control, intrusion, and related security systems for new data center builds.

Coordinate with construction and engineering, ensure quality and safety standards, and provide hands-on troubleshooting, training, and thorough documentation throughout installation and warranty periods.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; NICET or Security+ preferred.
5+ years installing/commissioning security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
2+ years in leadership supervising technicians in the field.
Experience with data centers or critical infrastructure projects.
Ability to read blueprints and system designs; familiar with low‑voltage electronics.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise security technicians on installation, configuration, and testing of security systems for data centers.
Oversee installation and commissioning to ensure conformance with design specs.
Collaborate with construction, electrical, and network teams for coordinated installs.
Perform quality control, testing, validation, and handover to operations.
Provide hands‑on troubleshooting, training, and documentation.
Maintain safety compliance and report progress to stakeholders.
