Job summary

Pavion is seeking a talented Lead Technician to join our security business unit, leading installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced security systems across large data center projects.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate with construction, electrical, and networking teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality, on-time results for critical facilities.

Travel to project sites as needed and mentor junior staff to grow expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in installation, configuration, and commissioning of security systems.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with data center or large-scale projects.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in construction and data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of security technicians for CCTV, access control, intruder alarms on data center projects.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of security infrastructure per design specs.
• Collaborate with construction, electrical, and network teams for coordinated installs.
• Ensure quality standards and test results before handover.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolve issues; escalate as needed.
• Train junior technicians on installation, troubleshooting, and safety.
• Maintain documentation and generate progress reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations and codes.
• Coordinate with vendors to deliver equipment on schedule.
• Oversee post-installation testing and warranty support.
