JT4, LLC, in Edwards, CA, seeks a Security Specialist to provide administrative and personnel security support to the unit manager and security staff, including handling clearances, badges, logs, and reinvestigations. The role emphasizes SAP/SAPF security processes with JADE familiarity.

The position requires an Associate’s degree (or equivalent) and five years of related NISPOM/SAP/SCI experience, plus the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent military or technical school with five years related work experience in NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields.
• Must be very knowledgeable with NISPOM regulations pertaining to security operations.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and graphics software; able to manage databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and personnel security support to the unit manager and security staff.
• Communicate with clearance granting agencies regarding status of clearances and reinvestigations.
• Obtain certifications of existing clearance levels for employees/consultants and prospective employees.
• Issue security badges to designated employees and visitors.
• Maintain logs and records of badges issued and related information.
• Schedule initial, periodic and exit briefings; coordinate with supervisor and employees.
