Job summary

JT4, LLC in Edwards, CA seeks a Security Specialist II to provide administrative and personnel security support to the site security team. The role requires familiarity with NISPOM/SAP/SCI and clearance processes for employees and consultants.

You will issue badges, keep records, coordinate reinvestigations, and assist in briefings while guiding junior clerical staff. Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent military/technical training with one year related security experience.
• Familiar with NISPOM requirements and ability to obtain/maintain clearance.
• Excellent communication skills and high accuracy in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and personnel security support to the unit manager and security staff.
• Communicate with clearance agencies regarding status of clearances and reinvestigations.
• Issue security badges and maintain logs of issued badges and related data.
• Coordinate initial, periodic, and exit briefings; schedule and notify staff as needed.
• Provide work direction to administrative personnel and assist with security briefings.
