Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Security Specialist III to provide administrative and personnel security support for the unit manager and security staff at the Edwards, CA site. The role requires active TOP SECRET eligibility, SAP/SCI knowledge, and JADE familiarity, with routine coordination of clearances and reinvestigations.

Responsibilities include badge issuance, records maintenance, briefing coordination, and assisting in security operations for sensitive programs. U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent military or technical school with five years related work experience in NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and personnel security support to the unit manager and security staff.
• Communicate with the clearance granting agency regarding status of clearances and reinvestigations.
• Obtain certification of existing clearance levels for employees/consultants and prospective employees.
• Issue security badges to designated employees and visitors.
• Maintain logs and records of badges issued and related information.
• Schedule briefings and coordinate with staff on security processes.
• Oversee documentation for initial clearances and reinvestigations; fingerprint employees as required.
• Facilitate security briefings for individuals/groups.
