Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Security Specialist IV to provide admin and personnel security support for a high-security program. The role focuses on PERSEC, PHYSEC, INFOSEC, COMSEC, and OPSEC across SAP/SCI environments. A Top-Secret/SBI clearance and SCI eligibility are preferred, with travel to remote locations as required.

The position offers robust benefits and a chance to support critical national security programs on a 40-hour week with potential after-hours commitments to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with eight years of related work experience or a bachelor’s degree with six years in NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields plus formal training such as the Industrial Security Management Course.
• Expert knowledge of NISPOM rules and procedures for all security aspects.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative tasks in support of the site security department.
• Communicate with the clearance granting agency about status of clearances and reinvestigations.
• Obtain certification of existing clearance levels for employees and prospective hires from sponsor.
• Issue security badges and maintain logs of badges issued and related information.
• Schedule and notify for initial, periodic, and exit briefings.
• Coordinate with employees/consultants for timely submittal of documents for clearances and reinvestigations; fingerprint as required.
• Assist in facilitating security briefings for individuals or groups.
• Perform other related tasks as directed.
