Job summary
ServiceNow is seeking a Solution Consultant to partner with Sales, addressing complex security, identity, access, asset visibility, exposure management, and risk challenges. You will lead discovery, design, product demonstrations, POVs, and customer validation with executives and technical teams.
The role requires strong cybersecurity knowledge, enterprise networking experience, and excellent communication skills to translate capabilities into business outcomes across Fortune 500-scale
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales or related technical role
- 5+ years in customer-facing technical, pre-sales, or support
- Experience supporting complex cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise platform sales cycles
- Strong cybersecurity concepts, identity & access, governance & risk, and security operations
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking: routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, firewalls, DNS, NAT, network segmentation
- Familiarity with capturing network traffic via SPAN ports, port mirroring, TAPs, NetFlow, telemetry
- Ability to map security tech to customer environments for demos, POVs, and POCs
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and executive communication skills
- Ability to engage with technical practitioners, business stakeholders, and executives
- Proven track record of winning technical deals and advancing pipelines
- BS degree in CS, MIS, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, and customer validation with Sales
- Deliver compelling virtual and in-person technical demonstrations
- Deploy and support proof-of-value and proof-of-concept engagements
- Translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes
- Serve as trusted advisor during evaluations and executive discussions
- Develop customer-facing documentation and solution narratives
- Lead technical training sessions based on customer use cases
- Support marketing events, conferences, webinars, and speaking engagements
- Collaborate with Product, Enablement, Marketing, CS, and Support teams to share insights
- Travel as required, typically 25–50%
