Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to join the Technology Architecture organization. You will provide expert security advisory services and architect complex cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers, translating business needs into scalable security architectures.

In this senior role, you will lead security solution development, collaborate with sales, engineering, and executives, and shape new security offerings while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information security, CS, or cybersecurity.
• 10+ years as an information security professional.
• Experience leading complex security engagements; strong networking, cloud, DevOps, and security platforms knowledge.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Transform customer security requirements into scalable security solutions and architectures.
• Lead security solution development for strategic initiatives, complex engagements, and high-visibility opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build consensus on technical approaches, architectures, and solution strategies.
• Architect, package, and position managed and professional security services while maintaining consistent messaging throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Develop architectural diagrams, solution designs, statements of work, presentations, business justifications, pricing support, and customer-facing security collateral.
• Provide thought leadership across cybersecurity domains and contribute to the development of new security services and offerings.
• Present security strategies and technical recommendations to executive leadership, security teams, and technical audiences.
