Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM discipline; 8+ years of security software development, or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Python, C++, or Golang.
• Security design for operating systems, distributed systems, or enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build security infrastructure for Starlink, including cryptographic services and security-critical services.
• Develop security features for Starlink systems (router, dish, gateways, satellites).
• Design security into factory processes and provide network services in support of this.
• Maintain production systems and improve security posture through implementation and guidance to teams.
• Build prototypes and test security improvements.
• Advance our mission of secure, reliable Internet to underserved communities.
