Linktree is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the security team protecting 70+ million creators. This hands-on role focuses on authentication, authorization, secrets handling, abuse detection and secure-by-default tooling.

You’ll work with TypeScript, Node.js, React and AWS across systems, perform threat modelling, and collaborate with Product and Trust & Safety to balance security with creator experience. Hybrid in LA or SF, with some remote options.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with security focus.
• Strong full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL or MySQL and AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Design and ship security improvements across the Linktree product (authentication, authorisation, session handling, secrets management, third-party access).
• Build the detection and response capabilities for abuse, account takeover, scraping and fraud surfaced on product surface.
• Threat model new and existing systems with squads and translate outputs into shipped work.
• Own internal tooling and paved paths to enable secure-by-default development for other engineers.
• Triage and remediate vulnerabilities from internal findings, bug bounties and pen tests, fixing the class of problem, not the instance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Trust & Safety on hardening vs creator friction.
• Incorporate AI into development, reviews, migrations and investigations while managing AI risks.
• Mentor teammates and raise security standards through reviews and documentation.
