Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a hands-on security expert to lead the Professional Services Security Assurance efforts. You will deliver high-impact assessments across web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled apps, translating risks into actionable postures.

You will drive threat modeling, secure code reviews, and remediation guidance while shaping security standards and tooling within the PSSA practice.

Qualifications

• Senior: 5+ years in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting.
• Lead: 8+ years in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting.
• Hands-on security assessments: architecture/design reviews, threat modeling, secure code reviews, pentesting, cloud security reviews.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and common attack techniques.
• Experience with modern app architectures: web apps, APIs, microservices, containers, cloud-native, AI-enabled apps.
• Ability to communicate findings and remediation to technical and exec stakeholders.
• Excellent client-facing consulting skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C#.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements with high-quality security assessments across multiple platforms.
• Conduct threat modeling and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
• Develop security assessment reports with risk ratings for technical and executive audiences.
• Serve as trusted security advisor, offering best practices to improve posture.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to embed security throughout the SDLC.
• Develop and enhance assessment methodologies, automation, and tooling.
• Define security standards and reference architectures with internal teams and customers.
• Research emerging threats and evolve assessment methodologies.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and leadership.
