Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a hands-on security expert to join the newly formed Professional Services Security Assurance (PSSA) team within the Security Practice. You will deliver high-impact security engagements directly to customers, ensuring deployments are secure by design.

In this founding role, you will shape assessment methodologies, mentor teammates, and collaborate with engineers and customers to implement robust security controls across web, API, cloud, and AI-enabled applications.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with application security assessments including architecture reviews, threat modeling, code reviews.
Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10.
Experience with modern app architectures: web, APIs, microservices, containers, cloud-native, AI apps.
Ability to communicate findings, risk, and remediation to technical and executive stakeholders.
Strong customer-facing consulting skills and ability to influence security outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead security engagements delivering high-impact assessments for customers’ apps and environments.
Perform threat modeling to identify risks and propose practical controls.
Produce security assessment reports with findings and remediation guidance.
Advise customers on actions to improve security posture across their applications.
Collaborate with Professional Services to integrate security throughout the SDLC.
Develop and refine assessment methodologies, tooling, and standards.
Stay current on emerging threats and security best practices.
