Job summary

Salesforce is building a brand new Professional Services Security Assurance team. As a hands-on technical expert, you will lead high-impact security engagements for customers, translating complex risks into actionable postures and shaping the security practice.

This founding role offers visibility to senior stakeholders, opportunities to define methodologies, and to mentor others while delivering secure deployments across web, API, cloud, and AI-enabled applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Senior or 8+ years with Lead level in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Consulting.
• Hands-on security assessments including architecture/design reviews, threat modeling, secure code reviews, penetration testing, and cloud security reviews.
• Familiar with OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10, and common attack techniques.
• Experience communicating findings and remediation to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements by performing in-depth security assessments of web, mobile, API, cloud, and AI-enabled apps.
• Conduct threat modeling to identify attack vectors and balance security with usability and business goals.
• Develop security assessment reports with findings, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations.
• Provide practical remediation guidance and best practices to improve security postures.
• Collaborate with professional services to integrate security through the SDLC from design to deployment.
• Enhance assessment methodologies, automation, and tooling for scalable engagements.
• Define security standards, reference architectures, and secure development guidelines.
• Research emerging technologies and evolving attack techniques to improve methodologies.
• Build and maintain trusted customer relationships through effective communication and leadership.
