Anthropic Limited is seeking a senior Security Risk Engineer to own and remediate the company’s most complex security risks. You will build and scale risk measurement tools, work with Security Engineering on architecture, and mentor engineers to foster a risk-aware culture.

You will shape the AI-native security program, collaborate with multiple functions, and drive measurable improvements in risk posture across Anthropic’s safety-focused environment.

Formación

• 8+ years in software or security engineering, leading and remediating complex security risks.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python or at least one systems language (Go, Rust, or C/C++).
• Broad knowledge across core security engineering domains, with depth in at least one: identity/secrets, software supply chain, infrastructure/cloud security, secure frameworks.
• Calibrated risk judgment to provide defensible severity and likelihood under changing evidence.
• Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives and navigating organizational dynamics.
• Outstanding communication skills across all levels; ability to translate technical concepts clearly.
• History of growing engineers and fostering inclusive teams.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of Anthropic’s most complex security risk problems end to end, turning signals into a defensible view and guiding remediation.
• Build risk measurement systems and tooling, automate intake/triage, and provide observability for risk posture.
• Collaborate with Security Engineering to test architectures, prioritize remediation roadmaps, and justify investments.
• Mentor engineers and risk practitioners, building a risk engineering culture across teams.
• Develop AI-native risk tooling and dashboards that give real-time risk visibility to engineering and product teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to design clear remediation roadmaps with ownership and resourcing.
• Focus on measuring outcomes by risk reduction and decisions rather than activity.
