Job summary

Anthropic’s Security Risk team is hiring a Security Risk Analyst to drive risk-informed decisions using quantitative and qualitative methods. You will partner with Security Engineering to assess threat scenarios, calibrate estimations, and communicate results to leadership with clear tradeoffs and uncertainty.

In this role you will build scalable risk analysis tools, help define risk appetite, and shape governance for a growing AI safety program.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FAIR-style quantification experience, including scenario decomposition, calibrated estimation, and Monte Carlo simulation in Python, R, or spreadsheet tooling.

Responsibilities

• Enable leadership and partner teams to make risk-informed decisions with clear tradeoffs.
• Lead quantitative analysis of top security risk scenarios using FAIR and simulations.
• Partner with Security Engineering to assess threat scenarios and control effectiveness.
• Frame escalations and risk treatment decisions with a clear recommendation and uncertainty.
• Shape risk reviews and define risk appetite and metrics for the organization.
• Use AI and automation to scale risk analysis and ensure trusted outputs.
• Turn analyses into reusable methods, templates, and training for self-service.
