Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a Security Risk Analyst to join the Risk team. You will drive quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, collaborate with Security Engineering, and translate findings into actionable leadership decisions.

The role emphasizes proactive risk management for frontier AI systems and requires strong technical rigor and communication. You will use quantitative methods, including FAIR-based analysis, to calibrate risk metrics, partner with engineers, and help define risk

Qualifications

• Experience leading security or technology risk analysis end to end, qualitative and quantitative.
• Hands-on FAIR-style quantification, including scenario decomposition and calibrated estimation.
• Experience with Monte Carlo simulation in Python, R, or spreadsheet tooling.

Responsibilities

• Enable leadership to make risk-informed decisions with clear tradeoffs.
• Lead quantitative analysis of top security risk scenarios using FAIR and simulation.
• Assess threat scenarios and control effectiveness with Security Engineering.
• Frame risk escalations with clear recommendations and uncertainty.
• Shape narrative for leadership risk reviews and define risk appetite.
