Job summary

Oracle Corporation is seeking a senior architect to lead the design and evolution of hyper-scale, elastic distributed systems. You will set technical standards, drive performance optimizations, and oversee resilience, telemetry, and security practices across multi-tenant environments.

Responsibilities include leading architecture across interdependent platforms, establishing SLIs/SLOs, and guiding CI/CD and IaC-driven automation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience leading architecture across interdependent platforms.
• Proven ability to design fault-tolerant, scalable systems with CI/CD and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership in the architecture of highly scalable distributed systems.
• Resolve performance and scalability bottlenecks to drive optimizations.
• Define industry standards for scalability requirements.
• Design systems to scale with elasticity and handle up/down scaling.
• Advocate for data plane platform improvements and innovation.
• Establish KPIs and telemetry, dashboards, and alerting for system health.
• Lead fault-tolerant design with replication and auto failover.
• Direct incident management, RCA, and long-term remediation strategies.
• Lead security measures for multi-tenant environments and patch management.
• Oversee automation of IaC and change management across environments.
