The role emphasizes setting KPIs, telemetry, chaos testing, and CI/CD-ready resilience, while driving automation, IaC, and advanced change strategies to enable safe patching and rollbacks.

• Advocate for data plane platform improvements.
• Evaluate systems against nonfunctional scalability requirements.
