Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation, via its subsidiary Alutiiq Diversified Services, seeks a full-time Captain of the Guard to support a Fortune Global 500 client in Grand Prairie, Texas. The role oversees staffing, scheduling, training, and quality of service, with authority to hire and discipline as needed.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in law enforcement or security management or 10+ years in security; must pass a background check and carry a firearm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement, security management, or related field.
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in law enforcement/security may substitute for the degree.
• Extensive knowledge of access control systems and protection protocols.
• Proven ability to supervise staff in a professional, results‑oriented manner.
• Must pass background check and carry a firearm.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, operate, train staff and ensure high quality service for the client.
• Hire and staff at all supported facilities and coordinate discipline actions with the Program Manager.
• Maintain staffing, minimize overtime where feasible and exceed KPIs.
• Develop training plans and ensure certifications and training are current.
• Create/update Post Orders and SOPs, submit monthly reports, and support incident response.
