Job summary

Afognak Diversified Services, Inc. seeks a full-time Shift Supervisor to support Airbus Helicopter operations in Grand Prairie, Texas.

The role involves supervising Protective Security Officers, ensuring SOPs and post orders are followed, and maintaining contract quality and compliance. This position is contingent on contract award; successful candidates will oversee training, licensing, and payroll processes while coordinating security operations across posts and systems at the Grand Prairie

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation.
• Must speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using Microsoft applications.
• Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications.
• Must be able to work various shifts, to include weekend and Holidays.
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam.
• Ability to write legibly, using proper grammar and spelling.
• Ability to acquire knowledge of all contracted site locations and layouts.
• Possess all required state Security Officer Licenses.
• Ability to operate base radio and computer terminal equipment.
• Must have working knowledge of Guardtek.
• Ability to create working/emergency schedules if needed.
• Ability to perform routine clerical work.
• Follow moderately complex oral instructions.
• Maintain composure under heavy workload and emergencies.
• Speak with a clear, well-modulated voice.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with client and public safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of all Protective Security Officers on assigned shift.
• Ensure training and licensing for position is completed.
• Appraise, reward, and discipline employees.
• Review paperwork for accuracy and correct discrepancies.
• Monitor and approve payroll for all employees on shift.
• Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by inspecting personnel and performance.
