Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent AND at least 1 year of HealthPartners Security experience OR a 2-year degree, relevant certification, or equivalent in healthcare security.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and IAHSS Basic Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills; ability to train and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Patrol, monitor security systems, assess hazards, and engage staff to address safety concerns.
• Serve as primary Field Training Officer, providing hands-on instruction and evaluating trainees.
• Travel between sites on shift for mobile patrol, incident response, and coverage.
• Lead responses to alarms, incidents, and high-risk events with proper risk management.
• Document investigations, write detailed reports, and enforce policies and procedures.
