Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Washington, DC seeks a Physical Security Installation Supervisor to lead field teams, coordinate installation activities, and serve as the technical escalation point for CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection projects.

You will review drawings, program security platforms, mentor technicians, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safe, compliant installations that meet design intent and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years installing and troubleshooting access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems on complex projects.
• Experience leading field teams, coordinating installation activity, and collaborating with customers.
• Expert knowledge of electronic security installation methods, system architecture, and QA/QC standards.
• Strong IP networking understanding (TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE) and server/client concepts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise foremen and technicians, manage workload, and provide coaching.
• Review drawings, submittals, and documentation; ensure design intent and safety.
• Lead commissioning, testing, and turnover with thorough QA/QC and punch-list resolution.
• Provide advanced technical support for CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
