Job summary

Homeland Safety Systems is seeking an Installation Technician with 2+ years of experience to install and service electronic control systems for new and existing customers. The role is based in Louisiana with Shreveport and Monroe offices, and requires travel up to 60%, including nights and weekends.

You will lead a technician crew, install wiring, inspect sites, train customers on software and equipment, and maintain detailed documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in low voltage and access control
• Bias toward leading a technician crew and coordinating job sites
• Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
• Able to pass state and federal background checks for licenses and security clearance
• Willingness to travel up to 60% including nights/weekends

Responsibilities

• Install and service Homeland security solutions including access control and CCTV
• Lead a technician crew and coordinate job sites with Operations staff
• Maintain documentation of work performed and equipment used
• Provide customer training on software and equipment usage
• Perform site inspections reviewing plans, manuals, and material requirements
• Ensure compliance with installation procedures and safety standards
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic components and CCTV equipment
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders or lifts as needed
