Job summary

Homeland Safety Systems in Shreveport, Louisiana seeks an Installation Technician with 1–2 years of experience to install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm panels.

You will travel up to 60% for site work, coordinate with Operations, and provide customer training on software and equipment. The role may require nights/weekends and occasional out-of-town travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel up to 60% for the role.
• Clean background check.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks for licenses and security clearance
• Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)
• Willingness to obtain proper state licensing once hired
• Solid knowledge of electronics and electrical schematics

Responsibilities

• Install and service security solutions using installation folders and maps.
• Run electrical wiring, drill, trench, and related tasks.
• Connect control panels and install security software.
• Review work orders and installation manuals for proper materials and procedures.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with Operations staff and other technicians.
• Lead a technician crew on job sites when required.
