Job summary

Envestnet seeks a Senior Security Governance leader to align technology decisions with business strategy, regulatory expectations, and client commitments. You will steward a comprehensive cybersecurity framework across product, engineering, and compliance teams to protect sensitive data and enable trusted innovation.

You will translate security requirements into practical guidance, develop client-facing materials, and report security outcomes to executives.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in security governance, risk, product security, or client assurance.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, regulatory expectations, and client assurance needs in technology-enabled or financial services environments.
• Experience partnering with product management or engineering on roadmaps, service designs, AI-enabled capabilities, or emerging technology plans.
• Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, FFIEC, or similar models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engagement with senior leaders, product managers, sales, legal, compliance, auditors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide Security Governance consultation and direction company-wide.
• Articulate cybersecurity and information security risks and controls to all levels of the organization.
• Advise on security capabilities, product controls, AI-related security considerations, and customer-facing security questions.
• Develop risk assessments and documentation including risk profile analysis and mitigation planning.
• Position security as a differentiating capability to support growth, trust, and product adoption.
• Develop client-facing security materials and market-ready narratives including AI offerings and post-quantum readiness.
• Create executive-ready reporting linking security outcomes to customer trust and business outcomes.
• Provide senior management with concise updates on client security engagement and risk trends.
