Job summary

Envestnet is seeking a Senior Security Governance professional to guide risk, policy, and regulatory compliance across our wealth-management platform. You’ll partner with product, engineering, legal, and client teams to embed security controls and drive trust with advisors and clients.

In this remote role, you will lead risk assessments, develop governance frameworks, and translate emerging security risks into actionable guidance.

Qualifications

• Senior-level governance, risk, product security, or client assurance with cross-functional influence across business, technology, legal and compliance.
• Experience creating client-facing security collateral, RFP responses, security questionnaires, or sales enablement content.
• Solid understanding of governance, risk management, control frameworks, and regulatory expectations in financial services environments.
• Experience partnering with product management or engineering on roadmaps, AI-enabled capabilities and emerging technology plans.
• Working knowledge of frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, FFIEC or similar models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leaders, product managers, sales teams, legal partners, auditors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provides Security Governance consultation and direction company-wide.
• Articulates cybersecurity, technology and information security risks and appropriate controls to all levels of the organization.
• Advises on security commitments, product capabilities, AI-related security considerations and customer-facing security questions.
• Develops client-facing security materials and market-ready narratives explaining enhanced product capabilities.
• Develops metrics and executive-ready reporting that connect security outcomes to customer trust and growth.
• Provides senior management with updates on client security engagement, risk trends and strategic enablement.
