Job summary

Envestnet seeks a Product Security Engineering leader to embed strong security practices across design, development and operations of its financial technology platforms. You will partner with product management and engineering teams to identify and mitigate security risks early, define secure design standards, and oversee threat modeling, reviews and remediation across APIs and cloud services.

The role requires hands-on security architecture experience, knowledge of SDLC and AI/LLM security, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
• Strong experience in product or application security architecture.
• Hands-on threat modeling and security reviews.
• Understanding of modern architectures: microservices, APIs, cloud-native.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts and secure AI integration.

Responsibilities

• Embed strong security practices across design, development and operations.
• Lead threat modeling, secure design reviews and architecture assessments.
• Define secure development requirements and SDLC alignment.
• Mentor engineers in product security and risk remediation.
• Perform security testing and remediation validation.
• Assess and govern AI security, including LLMs, RAG and AI agents.
• Support audits, assessments and regulatory compliance.
