Job summary

Envestnet is seeking an Enterprise Security Architect to mature the company’s security program, aligning architecture to risk, compliance, and business goals. You’ll drive AI security governance, security-by-design, and resilient platforms in partnership with Security, IT, Product, and Compliance.

This senior individual contributor role leads through influence across 1st- and 2nd-line teams, defines patterns for secure AI-enabled features, and ensures governance and threat modeling practices are

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cybersecurity
• 5+ years in an architecture role
• Hands-on experience with security automation tooling and scripting (Python or similar)
• Proven experience with cloud architecture and IaC
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar BI tools
• Certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, CCSP, or AI security certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise security architecture and multi-year roadmap.
• Define and operationalize AI security and risk governance using NIST RMF.
• Establish and govern security-by-design requirements across products and platforms.
• Build partnerships with product and engineering to embed secure-by-design practices.
• Lead risk reduction and assurance activities aligning with 1st- and 2nd-line oversight.
• Define data security and governance patterns including AI data controls.
