Job summary

Snowflake is hiring an Anti-Abuse Software Engineer to design and build security primitives across a multi-cloud platform. You will protect customers from abuse, fraud, account takeovers, and data exfiltration while shaping the security roadmap.

You will work with Security, Engineering, and Product teams to define strategy, enforce secure engineering practices, and deliver scalable security architecture that protects vast data assets. This role emphasizes impact, collaboration, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development with JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++, or Go.
• Proficiency in Python/SQL for building detections and data pipelines.
• Experience designing, testing, and maintaining security-focused software.
• Experience leading projects independently and setting technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale security-by-default capabilities across a multi-cloud environment.
• Develop intelligent security platforms leveraging AI/ML and risk scoring.
• Build real-time detection and prevention for account compromise and data exfiltration.
• Create security intelligence and monitoring for suspicious activity and timely response.
• Partner with Security, Engineering, and Product teams to drive secure engineering practices.
• Raise the bar for design, quality, and scalable security architecture.
