Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Security Engineer focused on AI Incident Response to lead product-level security across Cortex AI, Snowflake Intelligence, and related data pipelines. You will architect incident response capabilities and drive security readiness in multi-cloud AI surfaces.

You will work with AI and security teams to embed secure design, develop playbooks for AI misuse, and build tooling to speed detection and containment at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security experience, focusing on incident response, security engineering, or product security.
• Experience as incident commander for product-focused security incidents.
• Experience building secure AI/ML systems and programs.
• Familiarity with AI attack surfaces and LLM security.
• Understanding of cloud-native SaaS security.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response for product-level security events with a focus on AI threats.
• Embed security requirements from design through deployment in Cortex and Snowflake Intelligence.
• Develop and codify AI abuse response playbooks for misuse and AI-assisted attacks.
• Address technical debt to ensure IR readiness across AI product stack.
• Represent IR to cloud engineering, AI platform teams, and business units.
• Design and manage response capabilities in Snowflake's AI infra.
• Build tooling to speed detection and response for product security incidents.
• Drive security outcomes for customers trusting Snowflake.
