Job summary

Snowflake is hiring a Staff Security Engineer for the Enterprise Security team. You will design, implement, and maintain robust endpoint security solutions such as EDR, DLP, MDM, and AI security across Windows, macOS, and Linux in a multi-cloud, multi-SaaS enterprise environment.

You will lead security engineering efforts, build automation, and threat intelligence pipelines while collaborating with Engineering, IT, and Product to advance secure development practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information security with endpoint security focus
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, C, C++, or JavaScript with AI-assisted development
• Hands-on experience deploying endpoint security tools across Windows, macOS, Linux
• Strong understanding of OS, networking, and security fundamentals
• Experience leading technical projects and data-informed decisions
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, InfoSec, or related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and scale Snowflake's endpoint security solutions including EDR, DLP, MDM, and AI security across multi-cloud environments
• Build intelligent security platforms and automate security operations using AI
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and develop real-time detection/prevention
• Conduct regular risk and threat analyses and apply zero-trust principles
• Develop and implement unified security policies and compliance alignment
• Partner across Security, Engineering, IT, and Product to drive secure engineering practices
• Mentor engineers and advance the team's security craft
