Job summary

Johnson Controls on-site project leader position focusing on plan, implement, and complete fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom systems for customers. You will manage costs, schedules, and warranty execution while coordinating with subcontractors and Johnson Controls teams.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of installation/service experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently with safety and compliance in mind.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience with installation and service of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom systems.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of electricity and electronics and ability to solve systems.
• Security experience/certification with P2000, Lenel or C-Cure 9000 required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high level of customer service.
• Able to carry and move equipment/tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Minimum high school/trade school or two year Associate degree in electronics or computers.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office; basic IT network knowledge.
• Ability to read complex building documents, plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and complete fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom projects on site.
• Coordinate with customers and Johnson Controls staff throughout all project phases.
• Manage materials, procurement, scheduling and budgeting for assigned projects.
• Oversee subcontractors and installers; ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Prepare and deliver commissioning, as-built and warranty documentation.
• Communicate project status and forecasts to management and clients.
