Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site Project Lead to plan, implement, and complete fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom system projects for diverse clients in the Charlotte area. You will coordinate hardware design, software programming, installation, commissioning and client handover while ensuring safety and profitability.

The role requires 2–5 years’ experience with security systems, plus relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience with installation and service of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom systems.
• Security certifications from P2000, Lenel or C-Cure 9000 are required.
• Strong knowledge of building electrical systems and IT networks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and complete fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom projects on site.
• Coordinate installation, programming, commissioning, and project closeout with customers.
• Manage project finances including costs, billings, and collections.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance with codes; guide subcontractors and technicians.
• Pursue change orders and maintain client communication throughout the project.
• Provide documentation, as‑built drawings and commissioning reports.
