Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Continuous Monitoring team. This role owns the engineering function that measures whether security controls are functioning across cloud, identity, SaaS, and enterprise systems, turning measurements into auditable evidence for Security and auditors.

The role combines leadership with hands-on review of Python-based automation, data pipelines, and GRC tooling to ensure accurate, timely control coverage and remediation priorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience leading engineering or security engineering teams.
• 12+ years of experience in security engineering, security posture monitoring, or compliance automation.
• Solid cloud security knowledge across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
• Strong communication across technical, GRC, and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Continuous Monitoring engineering team and strategy.
• own the roadmap for the security posture measurement platform and tooling integration.
• Build and mentor security engineers; drive OKRs and KPIs.
• Partner with GRC, IT, Legal, and Engineering leadership to align controls and evidence.
