Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Continuous Monitoring team, owning the engineering function that measures security controls across cloud infrastructure, identity, SaaS, and enterprise systems. You will drive a program aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, PCI DSS and evolving AI governance, translating measurement into auditable evidence for Security and auditors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience leading Engineering or Security engineering teams.
• Typically 12+ years of experience in security engineering, posture monitoring, or compliance automation.
• Strong understanding of security controls and cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for the continuous monitoring platform and remediation tracking.
• Define metrics for control coverage, drift, and time-to-remediate; report to leadership and auditors.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with GRC, IT, Legal, and Engineering to align controls with policy and audits.
