Job summary

Databricks is looking for a Sr. Security Engineer to translate security requirements into practical protections across the enterprise environment.

You will implement controls across applications, identity, endpoints, networks, SaaS, and data-security systems, building automation and reusable capabilities to strengthen preventive security. You will collaborate with security leads, IT, and platform owners to deliver reliable controls, automate checks, and validate effectiveness as systems evolve.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of security engineering, enterprise security, or cloud security.
• Hands-on experience implementing, integrating, testing, and maintaining security controls in production environments.
• Strong programming and automation skills using Python/Go and IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve preventive security controls across enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable security configurations and guardrails to reduce gaps.
