Databricks seeks a Sr. Security Engineer for the Enterprise Security team to translate security requirements into practical protections across the enterprise environment.

You will implement, test, and improve controls across applications, identity, endpoints, networks, SaaS, and data protection, with a focus on automation and auditability. The role emphasizes building reusable secure patterns, integrating security platforms, and delivering measurable improvements in risk reduction and efficiency

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering, enterprise security, infrastructure security, cloud security, or related field.
• Hands-on experience implementing, integrating, testing, and maintaining security controls in production environments.
• Strong programming and automation skills using Python or Go, including API integrations and IaC.
• Experience across identity, endpoint, SaaS, cloud, network, or data protection domains.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, SSO, OAuth, API security, and least-privilege principles.
• Experience developing automated security checks, configuration validation, drift detection, and remediation workflows.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI-assisted security automation with proper controls and auditability.

Responsabilités

• Translate security requirements into preventive controls and implement tested protections.
• Collaborate with security, IT, and platform owners to deploy access, configuration, endpoint, and data protection guardrails.
• Develop reusable secure configurations and automation patterns to reduce gaps.
