Job summary

Hypernative is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to work with US-based customers, embedding within client environments to configure and customize the platform, develop integrations, and guide day‑to‑day use of security tools.

You will directly engage with customers, collaborate with the US team, and support security posture assessments and incident response planning. This role requires US business hours alignment and hands-on technical delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Web3 technologies, decentralized systems and blockchain security concepts.
• Advanced cybersecurity knowledge as applied to digital assets and blockchain tech.
• Working proficiency in Python for scripting and integrations.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, including with external partners.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain complex security topics to diverse audiences.
• Proven track record of customer-facing engagements with a professional, customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Risk Strategy: assist customers in analyses of their Web3 assets, evaluate security postures, and develop monitoring and response plans.
• Customer Collaboration and Support: maintain ongoing communication with customers about security issues and threat shifts.
• Partner Collaboration: work with technology and ecosystem partners on integrations and solutions.
• Training and Enablement: deliver security training for client teams, from technical staff to non-technical stakeholders.
• Sales Support: assist Sales with scoping, proposals, and technical positioning.
• Implementation and Configuration: tailor the Hypernative platform for each customer, including custom rules and Python scripts, ensuring smooth integration into workflows.
