Job summary

Jobgether in the United States is seeking a senior security engineer to protect cloud-native products and platforms from evolving threats. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic influence across architecture and the software development lifecycle.

You will partner with product, infrastructure, and platform teams to embed security into architecture, model threats, and build scalable security patterns for hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Deep networking expertise across hybrid environments with routing, segmentation, zone design, and traffic inspection.
• Strong cloud security experience across hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience designing secure, scalable connectivity patterns for SaaS, cloud-native, or distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve secure network and cloud architectures across hybrid environments, including AWS, GCP, Azure, and physical data centers.
• Lead threat modeling activities focused on architecture, data flows, network connectivity, and platform services.
• Build scalable monitoring, alerting, and automation capabilities that identify and respond to network and cloud security risks.
• Mentor engineers and interns through pairing, design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities.
