Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join the Infrastructure Data Center Security & Compliance team as an individual contributor. You will help manage risk across data centers, edge, backbone, and related operations, designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls to protect customer data and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of security experience in large-scale networks or infrastructure.
• Experience building and maturing security programs and projects.
• Experience supporting security for mission-critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a comprehensive security expert accountable for security risk management across logical and physical domains.
• Assess security risk and communicate threats and vulnerabilities to inform decisions.
• Engineer security solutions across network, physical, and cyber domains to protect infrastructure at scale.
• Develop and implement security guidance to align policy with industry best practices and regulations.
• Support security incident management and maintain infrastructure supporting security tools.
