You will shape strategy across pillars, drive engineering excellence at scale, and mitigate systemic risk across global infrastructure, products, and platforms.

You will partner with senior leadership to set direction, influence the security community, and deliver solutions protecting billions of people and their data.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of security risk management experience at large scale.
• Experience driving cross‑company security initiatives spanning complex infrastructure.
• Proven ability to define pillar‑level security goals and roadmaps.
• Strong skills in threat modelling, risk assessment and security controls.
• Excellent written communication to senior and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive security strategy and engineering standards at pillar level.
• Lead threat modelling and risk assessments for complex systems.
• Architect and implement engineered security controls and guardrails.
• Partner with leadership to set pillar goals and drive execution.
• Identify gaps in the pillar's security stack and deliver scalable solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to leadership development.
• Represent Meta's security posture internally and externally.
• Leverage AI‑integrated workflows to improve threat detection and efficiency.
• Ensure decisions align with compliance and responsible AI practices.
• Communicate risk trade‑offs clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
